This made-to-order custom acrylic display cover is made from 3mm clear acrylic and fits over replica bases that have an internal raised lip. It works especially well with EFX Star Wars Lightsaber displays.
Many EFX bases use a black painted wooden lower section with a clear acrylic top panel. This cover sits on the black wooden section and wraps around the clear acrylic panel, so it stays centred and won’t slide off.
Measuring and ordering
- Enter internal sizes only (the space inside the cover).
- The external width and depth will be about 6mm larger overall.
- Measure the clear acrylic top panel on your base, then add clearance so the cover lifts on and off easily.
Dimension guide
- Width: left to right as you view the display (usually the longest dimension for a lightsaber).
- Depth: front to back (usually the shortest dimension on a lightsaber).
- Height: from the top of the black base section to the inside top of the cover.
Clearance recommendation
- Add at least 25mm extra height above your replica for comfortable fitting and removal.
- Add 1mm to the width and depth to allow for production/measuring tolerance, and for expansion/contraction of the acrylic.

Great product! – I’ve ordered a case for an EFX lightsaber prop. I found this site due a previous release of the EFX reveal saber. After some contact I regarding which margins I should use for extra space, I’ve decided to order. I was a bit skeptical if it would fit properly but the dimensions are spot on! While some other sites online give a warning for a 1/2 mm discrepancy, acrylicdisplaycases is exact in the dimensions you fill in. I’ve used 1mm slack in width and length but in retrospect this wans’t necessary. All in all, great product, great packaging, great advice on maintenaince. Would definitly order here again. For those interested in a case for the EFX Luke Skywalker Mandalorian prop lightsaber, I’ve used the dimensions 122mm, 361mm, 155mm. The height could be a good 5cm lower but it’s just what you prefer.
