This display case is designed to fit a model plane, but please check the size of your model very carefully, we have tried to pick a size that will fit the vast majority of models but there are bound to be a few models that it will not fit. model planes, do come in different sizes. Keeps your model free from dust, but more importantly will stop cleaning products being used on it.
The external dimensions of this model plane display case are 384mm wide x 284mm x deep 235mm high, and the internal measurements are 350mm wide x 250mm deep x 225mm high.

Our wooden base acrylic display cases are designed to provide a premium, secure and visually clean way to protect and showcase your items. Each case combines a solid, furniture-grade base with a crystal-clear acrylic cover to deliver both protection and exceptional presentation.
Wooden Base Construction
The base features a solid MDF core for strength and rigidity, surrounded with a stained and lacquered wooden frame, available in multiple colour options for a professional, furniture quality appearance. Available finishes include black (dark grey), mahogany and light wood.
Raised Locating Lip
The wooden frame sits slightly higher than the interior display surface, forming a locating lip that holds the acrylic cover in place and prevents lateral movement.
Baize Display Surface
The central display area is finished with a high-quality baize lining, providing a soft, non-abrasive surface that enhances presentation while protecting your item. Available in a choice of five colours: black, navy blue, moss green, burgundy/maroon and bright red, this allows you to match your displayed item and/or room decor.
Protective Underside
The underside of the base is covered in soft, non-slip baize to help prevent scratches or marks on furniture and display surfaces.
Frameless Acrylic Cover
The clear acrylic cover is supplied as a single, frameless piece, offering uninterrupted visibility from all angles while allowing natural light to illuminate your display without obstruction.
Precision Fabrication
The acrylic cover is formed from a single sheet with two thermoformed bends to create the front, top and back panels, with the side panels securely bonded onto it and polished to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
UV Protection
The acrylic used blocks over 90% of UV light, helping to reduce fading and preserve the condition of your displayed item over time. Nevertheless we do not recommend leaving your display in direct sunlight.
Dust & Handling Protection
The enclosed design protects against dust, airborne contaminants and handling, helping to keep your displayed item in pristine condition.
Removable Cover
The acrylic cover lifts cleanly from the base, allowing easy access while maintaining a dust free and protected environment when in place.

My latest purchase, not actually for a model plane as such but it was perfectly suited to displaying the model I intended it for. 10 out of 10 for the product!
I have purchased two of these display cases now. They are perfect for displaying one or two 1:72 air-planes or two or three 1:72 military vehicles each (one for the allies and one for the axis powers) – in a mini diorama. The cases and bases are very well made and really show off your models at their best. However, most importantly they keep them safe from knocks and dust free – no one wants to see their model damaged by an accidental knock after hours of building it. I have been very pleased with my purchases both times.
I found this product on the internet after a few intuitive searches that led me to Widdowsons. I’m pleased to say that this was just what I was looking for to show off a few of my favourite Die cast Aviation models In rotation on a shelf in our living room. I have a 1.44 scale & 1.72 scale model sharing the cube of the (TD034) at the moment and they look great together , a good sturdy design finished off with a finely crafted base . Would definitely purchase again.
