This display case has been designed to fit a 1:72 scale model plane, but please check your sizes very carefully, it will not fit all 1:72 scale models, as planes vary a lot in size. Most likely the best option is to get one made to your exact size here.The bottom section of acrylic is slightly larger than the outside size of the display case cover so the display cover sits on top of it, whereas the top part of the base is slightly smaller than the inside size of the display case, so it sits inside the display cover and stops the display cover from being knocked off.The two pieces of the base are held together (and apart by about 13mm) by machined stainless steel supports in each corner.

The external dimensions of this display case are 357mm wide x 257mm deep x 235mm high, and the internal measurements are 350mm wide x 250mm deep x 205mm high.
Display case – Really great for 1/72 aircraft I like the heavy duty Acryl and the choice of colour of base. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Excellent display case – While a little larger than I needed, it was far less expensive than the cost of a custom fitted display case. The fast build time, careful packaging, and overall quality were excellent. The case was let down by a few silvers of the protective layer remained on the black plastic parts, so if I could give a score it would 9.7 out of 10.
