Custom Acrylic LEGO Display Case with a Choice of Colours

Custom sized stackable acrylic LEGO display case

This custom sized acrylic display case is made to order to your selected dimensions. It is available in dimensions in increments of 25mm, it features a flat 5mm thick acrylic base available in black, white, or clear. It also has a 5mm thick acrylic back panel which is also available in the same choice of three colours.

Uses our new simple modular self assembly construction method, the front and sides are made from a single piece of clear 3mm thick acrylic, this slots onto the acrylic base at the front and some small brackets towards the rear of both sides, the back panel then slots into the base, as well as onto the sides, and finally the top locates on top of them all.
We have designed this display case system from the ground up to make assembly as simple and straightforward as possible.

Important sizing information

All sizes you enter refer to the internal display area of the case. The external dimensions will be larger.

• External width and depth increases by approximately 12mm
• Overall height increases by approximately 12mm
• The bottom 2 fixings take up about a 10mm x 10mm square at the back corners of the base.

When measuring your item we recommend allowing at least 25mm clearance all round. This means adding 50mm to the width and depth and 25mm to the height of your item.

Stackable Display Case System

These display cases are designed to stack, giving you a flexible way to expand your display as your collection grows. Please take care how high you stack, we do not recommend stacking in a high traffic area, especially if they can be knocked by passers by, ideally they will be stacked towards the back of a surface near the wall.

You have two stacking options:

Option 1: Buy multiple complete display cases

Purchase two or more complete display cases and use them either as separate individual cases or stacked together as one larger display. When stacking complete cases, the top panel of the lower case will not be needed while the cases are stacked. We recommend storing this panel safely in case you later decide to separate the cases and use them individually again.

Option 2: Buy an additional stackable layer

You can also purchase an additional stackable layer instead of a full extra case.

Please note: no top panel is included with the additional layer, as it is designed to use the top panel from your original complete display case.

How to assemble an additional stackable layer

• Remove the top panel from your complete display case.
• Place the bottom panel of the additional layer onto the top of the complete display case.
• Fit the back, side, and front panels of the additional layer into position.
• Take the original top panel from the complete display case and place it on top of the newly added layer.

You will then have one complete taller stacked display unit.

Flexible and future-proof

This modular design gives you the freedom to start with a single display case and expand upwards whenever needed, without having to replace your original case. Please stack sensibly and take note of whether they can be knocked over or are at a safe height, also allow for how heavy your models are, only you can make the decision on whether stacking is safe in your environment.
