Description

The base for this acrylic display box is constructed from a single sheet of 5mm thick perspex/acrylic, with a choice of base colours, which has a rebate around the outside to provide a lip for the display cover to locate into.
This display box is supplied with four rubber feet which are supplied loose for you to fit, this means you can affix them onto the base so the box can be used as display case, or you can put them onto the cover so it can be used upside down as a container with a removable lid.
The cover for this display box is made from 3mm thick acrylic and polished all round.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: All sizes entered by you are the internal sizes of the display cover, the external dimensions of the display case will be approx 6mm (1/4″) bigger on the width and depth, the overall height will be approx 6mm higher. Please measure very carefully unless allowing plenty of clearance. We recommend allowing at least 25mm clearance all round your display, so that would mean adding 50mm to the width and depth, and 25mm to the height.

Excellent Large Custom Size Display Case

I needed a display case for my 1/18 Blurbird CN7 which was large enough to accommodate the model vehicule but small enough and light enoughto fit on the bookshlef next to my desk.

Extremely pleased with this product. The display case was produced to my exact measurements, so accurately that I was left with the choice of using its own base or the base provided with the model the case was built for.
