This 1:2 scale model F1/GP helmet display case is designed to hold six 1:2 scale helmets, but please measure yours to make sure they fit. They are NOT for full size helmets.
The back panel is fixed to the wall using our stainless steel supports, which when fitted leave no sign of the screw head. The shelf brackets and shelves are then fitted to it, see the video below to see how easily they are fitted.
The front cover is easily removable and hooks into the slots on the back panel, which makes it very easy to remove when you want to remove it, but still secure enough not to be knocked off. To remove the front cover you just push it up and then lift it away.

You will not need any lights in this display case because it is totally clear, the light from your room will light it up. This is a much better product than a wooden framed glass display case because of this. You will also be able to see your models from the front, top and sides.
The overall size of this display case is 404mm wide x 481mm high. It stands out from the wall a total of 190mm, including the cover.
The shelves are 150mm deep, and spaced 145mm apart, and are 380mm long. The shelf brackets protrude into the shelf by 11mm on the top of the shelf and 25mm underneath the shelf.

Perfect display cabinets for my ever growing helmet collection – My 1:2 helmet collection has grown in the past few months and I needed somewhere to display my collection.
I searched the web and found Acrylic Display Cases and ordered 2x 3 helmet cases and 1x 6 helmet case. The helmets are now proudly on display in my small office and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out.
My only issue now is where to find the extra wall space to buy more as my collection grows.
Perfect cabinet, but not just for 1:2 Scale Model F1/GP Helmets – I bought two of these cabinets to display the modern size Spark 1:18 F1 cars.
For me the cabinet is the perfect size, as it gives enough room either side, and above, to really view the cars from every angle. The F1 cars cabinet advertised, for me is two squashed, and buying a bespoke cabinet is very expensive.
These helmet cabinets I found were perfect and looks absolutely amazing. Be warned the acrylic does scratch easily if you rub it, but on delivery the acrylic was perfect with no blemishes. They must work hard to deliver it in such immaculate condition.
In terms of installing it’s true what people say, the holes you drill do need to be accurate, but there is a couple of millimetres play around each hole so as long as you take your time it’s fine. Just make sure you drill a small pilot hole first.
Couldn’t be happier, and will probably buy more as my collection grows.
