Two-piece base with secure fit
The base uses a two-part design to keep the acrylic cover stable and centred. First, the lower acrylic section extends slightly beyond the cover’s outer size, so the cover sits neatly on top. Next, the upper section runs slightly smaller than the cover’s internal size; as a result, it slots inside the cover and helps prevent knocks from pushing the cover off. In other words, the base “locks” the cover into position from both sides.
Finally, machined stainless-steel corner supports join the two base sections. Not only do these posts hold everything firmly, but they also space the sections around 13mm apart, which creates a clean, modern look.
