Description

This custom sized acrylic display cover is made to order to your selected sizes from clear acrylic. It is ideal for customers who prefer to make their own bases, or just dont want a base. The clear display cover is made in one piece for easy access to your display, but gives excellent protection from dust and UV light. There is a choice of acrylic thickness, the 5mm acrylic can be made to larger sizes.

PLEASE NOTE: The sizes you have entered are for the inside size of the display case, the external width and depth will be approximately 6mm bigger if you select 3mm acrylic, or 10mm bigger if you select manufacture from 5mm acrylic, and the overall height of the display case will be higher than the internal height by approximately the thickness of the material used.

Good quality acrylic display case

Very pleased with the product. It replaces a glass one I broke which was very heavy. The acrylic cover fits the base, which I still had, perfectly and is so much easier to remove. Turntable Cover

Very satisfied with the cover particualy the rounded ( bent ? ) long edges. Two holes were needed for each hinge for which I made a template from 10mm plwood using the original taller cover. Two layers of masking tape were applied to the surface to be drilled and then the template and a backing piece were clamped in place with paper towel to prevent scratches. see photos attached.

The project I was working on was to restore a vintage record player from 1973, the same model as my parents had when I was growing up. I found the same model online for £10 non functional. The whole thing has been stripped down and refurbed. A new case/chassis made and sprayed. The mechanics had to be degreased and re lubricated as everything was seized up. New speaker and aerial sockets fitted, and a fine tuned polish up to get it looking like new. The finishing touch was the bespoke acrylic lid which has been made exactly to my spec. The branded badge from the original battered lid was removed and fixed to the new one. Such a great find discovering this company, with such an easy process with great communication. The end result is stunning. Thank you!!
